Nope! At least if it did come up, I don't recall. Hey--that is an outstanding photo! Never seen it from that vantage. The place I hiked to is right at the bottom of your shot, where the military looked out over the water to the south...

I know Hanno and Uli have done a great job, but those patches are tough, especially during what could be a best ever Speedway Boogie!

I cant find any evidence of the Diamond Head show, but at least some portion of the uncirculating Hawaii shows exists in the vault. Check out this Other One from 6/12/70 at the Tapers Section...

A look at Quicksilver Messenger Services show base showed they (QMS) played at Diamond Head on 6/7/70 (the Dead were at Fillmore West that night) and at the Red Vest Inn with the Grateful Dead on 6/12/70 and 6/13/70. Perhaps the two shows were confused or else both bands played there at Diamond Head around the 12th. Just a guess...
